My name is Dave, and I’m the owner of New Beginnings Fitness.
I’m a Certified Fitness Trainer and Nutrition Coach, certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I’m here to help you start your fitness journey.
I didn’t pick up my first weight until I was 46! I offer a combination of online and personal training sessions conducted in the privacy of my home gym, along with nutritional resources to support your success.
I believe that for any workout to be successful, you need consistency. I will set small, attainable goals with you and help you develop daily habits that promote long-term results.
After age 30 (and in some cases as early as 20), we begin to lose muscle mass at a rate of 1–2% per year, resulting in up to a 30% loss by age 70.

Balance training reduces the risk of falls, sprains, and joint injuries—especially in older adults.
Good balance will help you in everyday situations, such as slipping on wet surfaces, walking on uneven ground, or navigating black ice.
It also improves postural alignment and muscle coordination.
Balance training is often used in physical therapy to strengthen the body, maintain joint integrity, and prevent re-injury.
It also enhances your ability to perform everyday activities such as carrying groceries, walking up and down stairs, and climbing ladders or step stools.
